1972 - Born in Bastar district Chhattisgarh, India

1992 – 1996 Learnt  wood and stone carving under Raituram,  a master craftsperson 

appointed by Shilpi Gram. Also assisted him in executions of various commissioned works.

Participated in number of training programs and craft workshops and fairs sponsored by

government organizations like Lalit Kala and Handicraft board, India.

2016              Joint show Not under Great Law, not under Sacred Law, The Guild Alibaug. Lives in Kusma village. Works at DIAA Centre in Kopaweda,
                      Kondag
aon, and in Kusma, Bastar district, Chhattisgarh.
2003/2016
     Have been oraganizing ‘Art Workshops’ for local school children at ‘Pilla Gudis’ at Kusma, Kopaweda and Shilpigram, Kondagaon with Shantibai,        
                      Gessuram, Navjot Altaf, Augustine, Namita Vishwakarma and local adivasi  artists. And have been interacting with community persons from the   
                      neighborhoods and Nagar Palika (municipality) officials to discuss Issues concerning - Nalpar structures as art works in public space: Its maintenance
                      and cleanliness.

2015
              Participated in a Seminar Samvad 3,Value [of] nature, organized By DIAA- Dialogue Interactive Artists Association  Kopaweda Kondagaon Bastar.
2011
              Presented a paper where do adivasi artists stand in a Seminar Samvad 2, What is Contemporary in Contemporary Art, organized By DIAA- Dialogue    
                      Interactive Artists Association Kopaweda, Kondagaon, Bastar.

2008
              Participated in Samvad 1, Perception of Collaboration, organized by DIAA- Dialogue Interactive Artists Association, Kopaweda Kondagaon, Bastar.
2007 
             
Solo exhibition of sculptures and acrylic on paper, Sakshi Art Gallery Mumbai.
2005              Appointed as President by the registered Trust, Dialogue Interactive Artists Association, Kondagaon Bastar.
2003-2005
 
    Built a Centre DIAA and formed a registered trust Dialogue Interactive Artists Association in collaboration with Shantibai, Gessuram and Navjot Altaf. 
2004
              Participated in
 Edge of Desire: Recent Art in India, curated by Chaitanya Sambrani (Perth, New York, Mexico City, Monterrey, Berkeley, New Delhi,   
                      Mumbai 2004-07). And invited to participate in a seminar to coincide with
 Edge of Desire: Recent Art in India exhibition at National Gallery of Modern  
                      Art in New Delhi.

2003-2007
     Collaboration as a Strategy in India Contemporary Art, site oriented sculptural structures, ‘Pilla Gudi’ and ‘Nalpar’ Kondagaon. Collaborative project with 
                      Navjot Altaf from Mumbai and artists – Rajkumar, Gangadevi, Gessuram and master mason Botiram and community members from Kondagaon, Chhattisgarh.
                      Supported by IFA, (India Foundation for the Arts, Bangalore)  Sites : Kondagaon Naka and 4 sites in Kopaweda . 

2001
              Modes of Parallel Practice: Ways of World Making – phase II, sculpture  installation with Shantibai and Gessuram,               
                      Exhibition: Sakshi Gallery Mumbai. 
2000-2002     Nalpar, site oriented sculptural structures, cooperative project with Navjot Altaf from Mumbai, Shantibai and Gessuram from Bastar, Chhattisgarh.
