The Guild Art Gallery celebrates its move to a more spacious premise with an exhibition of works of 37 Artists with whom the Gallery has had a long and happy association. The new space, which is easy to reach and yet discreetly set off from the larger world, will give us the scope to organize more ambitious exhibitions, while preserving the spirit of hospitability towards India's kaleidoscopic and varied art expressions, which has always been The Guild's hallmark.

To us, the gallery has never been simply a place where art works can be viewed, bought and sold, although these are crucial functions. But just as importantly for the Guild, a gallery is a conversation: a place where artists,viewers,collectors,critics and dealers meet and talk , exchange views and ways of seeking, take away with them impressions as well as the art objects around which those impressions have developed.
